Labor has not announced the cost of its climate policies: Sharma

FULL INTERVIEW: Liberal candidate for the seat of Wentworth Dave Sharma says Labor has not announced the full cost of its climate change plan. The Opposition’s climate policy includes a reduction target of 45 per cent on 2005 levels, with plans to force 250 businesses to cap emissions in order to meet Australia’s climate obligations. Labor will allow businesses to use international carbon offsets credits to meet their emission reduction targets. Mr Sharma has told Sky News that no Labor politician has articulated the cost its climate policies will have on the wider economy.
